Below is some information that you should know in advance to prepare you for an amazing photo shoot.

1. Let’s have some FUN!  I love taking pictures of people and hopefully, you’ll love the experience as much as I do!

2. Solid colors and layers are often best for pictures.  Stay away from colors like white and red unless you have a specific look in mind.   If you can’t decide bring a few extra things and we will figure it out together. 

3. Get some decent sleep before the shoot.  This will help your energy stay up and keep you looking fresh on film.    

4. The camera captures everything.  The trick to a great photo is intention.  What you are thinking will show up on film.   This is where I come in to help you Keep on Shining…

5. ikjMy studio is a home studio with a very cozy feel and lots of locations to choose from.  So yes, you’ll be coming to my house, so make yourself at home and join the jcartistry photo family.

6. If you have purchased a Groupon for a family or group of friends, please know that I will not be shooting each person individually, I will be shooting you as a whole.   If you want individual shots,  each person needs to purchase a groupon… or Mom can by gifts for each member of the family and we can spend the day together having fun.

7.  I will be seeing clients Monday-Friday (7-8am, 8:30-9:30am, 10-11, 11:30-12:30, 1-2pm, 2:30-3:30, 4-5, 5:30-6:30 (8 slots) and Saturday (9-10, 10:30-11:30, 12-1, 1:30-2:30, 3-4 (5 slots).

8. I am a one man band,  meaning you may have to wait a while before we can get to your session.  This of course all depends on how many people have bought a Groupon.   If you are in a rush to get your pictures  taken, I do have some amazing photographers that work with me from time to time and can recruit them to help out.   If you prefer to have me take your photos then please be patient, for good things will come…    

9. And finally… this is your time to shine and I am here to help make that happen and capture it on film, or a digital sensor rather.  If you have some fun ideas, let’s explore them and see what we can create together.
